Terms of service

1. Terms of service — click Terms of service, then click Create from template to generate Shopify's standard template. Then scroll to the bottom and add these extra clauses:

"You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction if higher, to use this site and purchase products. By placing an order you confirm that you meet this requirement."

"You are responsible for ensuring that the products you order may be lawfully imported and used where you live."

"Products are sold for adult personal use. They are not medical devices and are not intended to diagnose or treat any condition."

"This site is operated by [Company legal name], [Registered address]. These terms are governed by [Governing law], without affecting mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence."

2. Privacy policy — it's already automated by Shopify ✅. Click into it and add these clauses at the top or in a dedicated "Sensitive purchases" section:

"We understand that purchases from Hiamora are personal. We never use your order history for third-party advertising, never sell your data, and never disclose what you bought to anyone except the payment and delivery providers needed to complete your order."

"Order and marketing emails use neutral subject lines. Marketing emails are sent only with your consent, and you can unsubscribe at any time."

"We keep order records only as long as required for accounting, tax and warranty purposes, then delete or anonymise them."
